Last Superstar outdoor event : J8 CD lauch.

Yesterday is weekday, our FC members some got school, got work. So I 11am go there to chop places for the FC. reach the "top of the 8" < J8 Stage. nobody de. then Vivi and Vincent havent reach, so i when for my lunch 1st < Chicken Teriyaki Hotplate @ Food Junction. Then Vivi smsed me, nobody and go down find her, gone there liao saw Eli and her waiting. lol. just as they going for lunch i take over, the security came and chase us out < bad management. lol. nvm lah

then go to LJS there.. outside, saw some of JYFC de ppl, and go outside start queuing. lol.. yup.. just like me and SOON queuing for Zhao Shao Han last time. lol. JYFC de xiao mei mei men.. all skip school yesterday i think. ^^ after chopping the place, Vivi and Eli when for lunch, which left me to book place for the FC. lol. time passed very fast oso lor.. but one time i hate about yesterday is the weather, the fat fat clouds all gathered there FOR SHOW ONLY. lol. never rain, though outdoor queue but rain can lower the temperature oso good mah.

5.30pm all chiong to top of the 8. Vincent holding on the so preorder tickets abd amt of SG$ 780 go to queue for us the CD and ticket. lol.. finally after the long wait, 933 de Ma Li come out.. tok tok and tok. and FINALLY.. our Princess Kelly came out. they didnt perform, just tok and tok about the concert and CD. then after 20 mins handshake session starts. ^^ finally. very high will talk to Kelly and JY ^^.

reached home ard 9.05pm liao.

then 11pm to 2am the Ni Ke Shi de Cheng Bao, Pei Fen de programme, i started my dedications to KFC. then Zhen Xu oso sent to countdown concert. and not forgetting benedict. We owned 933. lol [but then its today liao.. cos Princess Pei Fen 12 + am then start reading smses.]

Hi Kelly, mind telling us which school you are from? Studying which course?
ji@li: Singapore polytechnic, doing a diploma in maritime transportation management

Diploma in maritime transportation management? that doesn't sound related to music in any way... how did you first develop interest in music composition then?
ji@li: Hmm... Ii only started writing this yr...and this motivation was from all my friends who wrote/do music..they made me feel tt i shdn't be only singing... i shd try new stuffs or i wud say improve myself? by learning instruments and writing my own songs?
tt's y i tried wrting music and lyrics.. well, i'm still learning!

You only started writing this year, then which genre of music are you more inclined to?
ji@li: well, i love rnb, jazz, souls, bossanova and many more... scanning thru my stuffs.. they are mostly balllads, rnd,alternatives and soft/ballad rock?

Who influenced your tastes in these genres then? idols?
ji@li: hmm... probably?
i don't noe.. i'm attracted to music that are groovy and with lots of feel abd stuffs... idols? well i have no idols.. but the artist i love does influence me i guessed... like lena park, coco lee, shunzi, landy, ah mei, mariah carey....alot more! hahaah
well not forgetting david tao and lee hom! hahhaah

Lol, now that you have stepped into the world of chinese music composition, how do you feel about song writing? what the difference between just singing?
ji@li: well i guess its a lot harder!!!!! hahahah...
cos i know nuts bout musical instruments.. (i'm learning though)therefore, to me, it's all bout my own thoughts and feel that made me hum out the melody? probably its called.... ling2 gan4?
hee... well, i still got more to learn! i'm still way back! still amature!

Any advise or words for those who are also new to music composition and song writing?
ji@li: advise? nah.... lets share my tots ya?cos i'm also a newbie...hehe... hmm.... if you are new to the music composition, do not be afraid tt you are too lousy, step out your first step and feel the music in you! if you dont know any instruments? follow me, use your feel and thoughts to hum out the melody and REMEMBER to record them down!!! cos you may forget them!
tt's wat's i always do! how bout bring a recorder out w you all the time? well, i almost do? not recorder, cos my hp cud do the trick! anyway, gambate ne!

assignment & Superstar Superconcert

argh.. so many things on.. and so little time.. tmr my MMAS MMAD assignment due.. and i was like at 20% now.. die lah...

anyway below are some details about the Project Superstar Superconcert.. i wont be going for it.. as i onli support JY and Kelly.. dun waste money.. lol..

The SuperStar SuperConcert will be an extension to the theme in the Project SuperStar Grand Finals, i.e., Stirring Emotions (深情) vs. Feistiness (热情). It will however be different from the usual TV concerts that we have seen on TV.

The entire concert will feature the different forms of Affection (情): Friendship (友情), Love (爱情), Family (亲情), Teacher-Student Respect (师生情) and True Emotions (真性情).

SuperStars singing in the concert: Tan Wei Lian, Hong Junyang, Jason Tan Kok Khian, Chia Wei Choong, Derrick Hoh Wei Jian, Darryl Yong Tze Wen, William Tanoto, Hagen Tan Meng Qi, Sugianto, Leon Lim Yu Zhi, Sebastian Leong Wai Keong, Raymond Chua Gee Wee

Phase 48 : "To the New World"

Newtype - Dullindal's "Destiny Plan" is using genetic engineering to match every human with roles corresponding to their own abilities. Shinn is disturbed by the details, however Rey tells it is their job to help create Dullindal's world. While the rest of the world is disturbed, Cagalli's Orb refuses to implement the plan. Dullindal orders the firing of Requiem at Earth Alliance's Arzamas base, which was following her decision.

Animage - Dullindal implements the ultimate human salvation plan, "Destiny Plan". While people around the world are disturbed at this news, Rey urges Shinn to agree with Dullindal's plan. While rest of the world are deciding to accept Dullindal's plan, Lacus decides to fight against Dullindal to protect the dreams and future of people.

Phase 49: Rey"

Newtype - Archangel and Eternal quickly heads toward to destroy Requiem's first relay point. Minerva is there to stop them.

Animage - After reuniting, Archangel and Eternal heads toward the Requiem's first relay point colony. Some of the ZAFT were hesitent towards Lacus' plea to open the path. Combat could not be avoided. Shinn, reflecting back the past events, was perplexed. Dullindal is explaining Shinn that he needs him in order to create a world with no war.

Phase 50: "The Final Power"

Newtype - Athrun vs Shinn. Kira vs Rey. During the intense battle, Kira learns about Rey's shocking birth.

Project Superstar aftermath

Okay.. heres the deal. on Aug 31st de 11+pm .. Haroz smsed me that I got the ticket to the grand finals. hehe.. so happy.. spent ard 20mins to design a simple graphic for our princess Kelly!!

on grand final morning... 10am start work liao.. go to bras brasah to buy board and print my design. lol.. reach home already 12+pm.. eat, spray mount my board. then go to Kallang MRT meet our Kelly FC members.. lol.. saw zhen xu[one of the beachboys] and some members that we meet on the banner/board making or at imm.. waited for like 40+ to 50+ mins then go to Geylang Terminal to take bus to SIS.. there we saw Chen Wei Ni, Wei Lian's younger sister lah.. lol..
dunnoe wat they did to make her laugh. LOL.. at SIS ,, met more FC member which didnt see b4. anyway we practise our cheer, then started to "decorate" our beachboy, beachgirl, and wrap mummies.

lol.. then Vincent use bodypaint to paint my right hand KELLY.. lol.. it took so long to dry. helped out sorting the lightsticks to red and blue for the mediacorp stuff. and then me and 2 other gers which are from the fc represented the FC to go East, West, North gate to distribute lightsticks.. eventually we 3 together at the North entrance of SIS.. give until very sian.. the strings and caps entangled.. waste our time.

after that got to go to the premier entrance and show myself.. i tok to the security that the two gers are with me .. and we got stamps.. actually they won the tickets.. should be sitting upside in the normal blocks... but the security so good.. lol.. so we enter using my premier ticket.. then the show when on..

Kelly is the Ultimate winner.. winning 4 out of 5.. and the audience should noe that too!! that why we see Wei Lian fans panic and keep calling. the more they call, the more happy we are, cos our mission is to support Kelly. voting is not vital as Universal is more important then the title itself. most of us didnt vote to secure the second place.. lol.. and it might be universal voting for kelvin to secure kelly and junyang to Universal.. lol. smart ar..

after that came home chiong tbcm.. 100 words everytime i awake.. then i will go to sleep again.. lol. and wake and sleep. eventually can finish worz..

that morning [cos that event i reach home is really morning lia] i go but I weekly superstar special newspaper. and when i reach sp.. 1st lesson ended le.. during tbcm, i was toking abt why, what, how .. the event gone.. eventually my lecturer oso started to tok abt it.. and i started to present my analysis of grand finals and why kelly lost.. which all appear on page 2 of Sin Min Bao on 2nd Sep. which i havent even buy that time.. for more info read that day's sin min..
